Fiction

Do you have a little one that likes to go, go, go all day long? Then this is the book for them. The Go-Go-Guys are always moving. They have no time for sleep and just want to keep vrooming all day long. With Watkins’s unique illustrations and repetitive text, pre-readers and early readers will soon be reading along with you.

Imaginative kids will love the silly antics and chaos created by three (siblings?) who don’t want to slow down or go to sleep. Even though this is set during bedtime, this may not be the best bedtime story to read to get your little one to settle down for the night. These three guys have no time for rest because they have too many adventures to take. They imagine going to the moon but get sent back home because they are too loud. Maybe next time they will visit Mars.

This short book is great for early readers, for kids who can barely sit still long enough for a story, and for those whose imaginations run wild.

Rowboat Watkins is a recipient of the Sendak Fellowship and an Ezra Jack Keats New Illustrator Honor Award. He lives with his family in Brooklyn, but you can also visit him, HERE. You’ll find the origin story of his unique name there!
