With the use of dials, foldouts, slide-pulls, flaps to lift, and a pop-up forest garden, your little ones will learn the importance of and how to care for our planet. Celebrate Earth Day by going outside, exploring the beauty of nature, and consider how your family can help care for the Earth.

This interactive book introduces the term, permaculture, to your child. Through learning about your specific environment and climate you live in, you can learn ways to work together with the plants and animals in your area.

Permaculture is a way for people to care for Earth by working together with nature.

From composting to creating your own vegetable garden to raising chickens to even creating an insect hotel you can create a space in your backyard for nature to work together. Not everyone can put in their own garden or raise chickens but maybe you can set out buckets to collect rainwater to use when watering your plants or maybe you can deliver your fruit and vegetable peelings to a nearby farm for their chickens to enjoy. Walking to school or riding your bike to the library are also ways to practice permaculture.

Kids will love interacting on the pages and choosing something your family can do to work together with the plants and animals in your own backyard.
