BOOKSCAPE BOARD BOOK: WILD ANIMALS

Your child can start their day in the Savannas as the animals wake up and go about their day. They will learn which animals live in the Savanna and which ones are up late at night or rise early with the sun.

The shaped board book is still small enough for toddlers’ hands and shares the relative size of the animals compared to each other. Elephants and hippos are about the same size, but a leopard is a bit smaller. A giraffe rises above the trees.

Few words and a uniquely shaped board book will hold your toddler’s attention.

Start early with sharing your love of books with your toddler. There are all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors of books. Books can be found at the library, a store, or even a friend’s house. You can sit and read a book absolutely anywhere, but it is also fun to have a favorite spot to get cozy and read a book. This cute little board book encourages that great love for books and reading.

Maybe after reading this book with your toddler you will want to create a reading spot for themselves with a pillow and a stack of books close by. Who knows, they might just want to write a book of their own someday!

Ingela P Arrhenius is an illustrator and graphic designer with a naive style and a love for design from the ’50s and ’60s. She’s the author of the Bookscape Board Books, Main Street Magic, and many other books and products. She lives in Sweden.
