Fiction

A forest is full of all kinds of fairies. Fairies that help you fall asleep and even fairies that help you clean. (Can I get one of those?) Mister Fairy is not a morning fairy or a kissing fairy or a boo-boo fairy. He feels useless in the forest.

Mister Fairy decides to leave the forest and travels to a dark and dreary place. As he spreads his wand, colors start to fall over the city buildings and people begin to smile and laugh.

Mister Fairy misses home and thinks that maybe he has something to share with his fairy friends. As he arrives home to the forest, he notices that maybe his presence was missed after all.

Mister Fairy looks like a grouchy and grumpy fairy. Unfortunately, he just didn’t know his own worth and his talents just waiting to be used. But, once he found what makes him special, he couldn’t wait to share it with others. Many of us don’t know our own place in the world or don’t think we have anything to offer. But, we certainly all have our own special gifts and we just need to find the right place to make them shine. Everyone has a gift to share. What’s your gift?
