When our kids were little, I loved filling their Easter baskets with books, games, and summer items they would need like swim gear and outdoor toys. Over the several days, I”ll be sharing a few recommendations that you might want to tuck into your child’s Easter basket. Click HERE to see all the Easter Basket Idea posts.
LITTLE WILD ANIMAL HUGS
By: Hans Wilhelm
Illustrated by: Wednesday Kirwan
Published: October 18, 2022
Publisher: Chronicle Kids
The follow-up to LITTLE ANIMAL HUGS features wild animals pairing up with their wild animal friends or foes and giving hugs.
Whether it is a panda bear and a skunk or a penguin and a kangaroo, there are all kinds of silly hug matches to make. By flipping through the pages in various order, your child can match up different animals and create all kinds of sounds like “cuddle-cuddle roar-roar hug” when a panda and a lion match up.
With adorable illustrations and the small size of the book, toddlers will easily be able to read this on their own after just a couple of read-throughs.
