TOUCHWORDS: COLOR CARDS

These durable, thick cards are perfect for toddlers who are ready to learn their colors and vocabulary. They also offer a unique sensory experience as the item on the front of the card is die-cut and the color words can be traced.

The cards are a nice size and have bright, vivid colors. The colors in the pack of cards include red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, and white. The front of the card includes the die-cut color word and a die-cut item in that color. At the top of the card are words to describe that item on the front.

The back of the card features illustrations of other items in that color as well as other names in that color family. I tried treating these cards as a toddler would, trying to bend them and bite them and they really hold up pretty well. They are still cardboard and can bend and be torn if not careful, but overall, they will hold up to steady use.

I really love various opportunities for teaching and interacting with your kids and these cards are a unique way to start teaching concepts of colors to your child. These are great for tucking into a diaper bag or keeping in the car while waiting in the school pick-up line.
