My daughter Reagan (age 4) and I are sitting in the living room. The windows are open because it is a beautiful day outside. I just finished painting her fingernails and toenails a pretty pink color. All of a sudden she said, “Mom, the birds are singing! Do you hear them?” The birds had been singing quite a chorus outside our window all morning. She sat there and listened to them for a little bit and then said, “What do you think they are singing about?” I said, I think they are singing about being happy that Spring is here. Reagan said, “Yeah, Mom, I think you are right. I would sing about that too!”Song of Songs 2:12 “The flowers are springing up, and the time of singing birds has come, even the cooing of turtledoves.”
