Little Cottage Frog wakes up from an afternoon nap in his cute little home in a cozy cottage log. Little Cottage Frog is excited about his special plans. As he gets ready in his finest clothes and jumps to avoid the raindrops, he finally arrives at the magical picnic with his froggy friends.
Many of these Finger Puppet Books end with the character ready for bed, but this one ends with an evening party at the pond. The illustrations are adorable, especially of Little Cottage Frog getting dressed and his clothes hanging on a branch or outside of his log home with a worm and a mushroom on his path to the pond.
Kids can make Little Cottage Frog leap and jump as he heads to the pond. Another really cute addition to the Finger Puppet Book series.
Yu-Hsuan Huang is an illustrator and artist from Taichung City, Taiwan, where she lives with her family and two lovely cats. Yu-hsuan’s works are inspired by animals and her life experiences.
