Do you have an Agatha Christie or Sherlock Holmes wanna-be in your house? With 8 mysteries to solve, your child can use their detective skills to figure out who stole the suitcase with a new invention, who reprogrammed the robots, or who stole a painting.

This interactive book includes a page of the mystery to solve. Then a pagespread includes the scene for kids to study. Open the flaps for the investigation and the list of suspects. Then see if they can crack the case. If your child just can’t figure it out, the answers are at the back of the book with a full explanation so they can go back and see what they might have missed in the illustration.
Each of the cases is short and fairly easy for kids to spot the culprit. This book is written for kids 5 and older, but I do think an older child will be able to solve the cases a little easier. Which is why this would make a great partner read with a younger and older sibling. Solving mysteries helps with inference and deductive reasoning skills, which are great skills to also build your child’s reading comprehension.
