With PRIME DAY DEALS starting tomorrow, I thought you might want to see what items I’ve ordered and loved from Amazon lately.
First of all, if you don’t already have a Kindle or need an upgrade, get the Kindle Paperwhite. I would be surprised if these don’t go on sale this week. Whether you have a Kindle or the Kindle App, you should definitely be checking the Kindle Daily Deals page as often as you can. There are usually very popular books, bestsellers, and even new titles available in the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly deals from all kinds of genres. Also, Amazon Prime members receive up to 2 FREE Kindle books every month through Amazon First Reads. These books are typically brand-new releases.
Also, now is the time to get Amazon Prime, especially if you are a college student. College students can get Amazon Prime for 1/2 off right now, PLUS the first 6 Months are FREE. This is great for students who need items for their dorm or apartments, don’t have a car on campus, and instead need to order their regular personal items, or need to get items for their classes, like books, notebooks, etc. Our daughter has a College Prime Membership, and it’s a must at this rate!
I’ve been using these reusable K-Cups for a year now, and I love them. I pair them with these coffee filters to make cleanup even easier. I love that I can prep my K-Cups ahead for the week and that I’m not throwing away a ton of K-Cups. Plus, I have more control over the amount of coffee I can use, and it is much cheaper.
I’m able to go days between hair washings mainly because I use this satin pillowcase. My hair doesn’t go flat or get all tangled up, and it is less harsh on my face. I just ordered a replacement for the one I’ve had for a couple of years.
These are my favorite colored pencils. I use them in my book journal as well as in my adult coloring books. I gift these all the time, and they are the best in my opinion. Pair them with these cute coloring books for a perfect gift.
In this summer heat, I noticed the silicone watch bands were giving me a rash, so I switched to these and I LOVE them. Just the right amount of stretch, and I love all the color options. Plus, they are quick to switch out and easy to take on and off. For around $1 each, that’s a steal! I paired it with this Sparkling Apple Watch Cover and get compliments on it all the time.
If you are on a budget but love the Chacos sandals, TRY THESE. This is my second pair. I wore my first pair for 3 summers and needed a new pair. I get compliments all the time, and they are very comparable to the popular Chacos, which look similar but are under $40! I wear them every Tuesday while working at the cafe, and they are a lifesaver.
In the summer, I don’t want to carry a bulky or heavy purse. I use a smaller Vera Bradley Belt Bag and this credit card wallet. Every time I use it at a store, I get asked about where I got it. There are numerous designs and patterns, and it holds everything I need for a quick run to the store.
My niece did this activity with her two boys under 5, so I decided to try it with my great-nephews under 5. They loved it. But it is probably better for 4-8-year-olds. It’s a perfect rainy day activity, or if you have a birthday party or need a family reunion activity for kids.

I keep two packages of this on hand all the time. I’m not a doctor or a pharmacist, but this stuff works. At the hint of a cold or achy feeling, I start taking these, and just like magic, it disappears. I’ll be putting these in our kids’ stockings! Great to send with your college kids, too!
I didn’t like the current fruit bowl I was using because the fruit would get buried and go bad, and I wouldn’t even know it. I like that this is 3 bowls in one. I can separate the fruit and see it. It fits perfectly in the corner of my kitchen counter, and I’m more likely to grab a clementine or cherry tomatoes because they are right there where I can see them.
Ninja Digital Air Fry Countertop Oven
I know I have shared this before, but we love this countertop oven so much! We use it multiple times a week, and since it flips up, it takes up minimal space on the counter. With our empty-nest life and hot summer days, it’s so much easier to cook in this countertop oven than to turn on our regular oven. It heats up faster and cooks quickly, so it likely uses less energy as well.
Another Ninja appliance I love and use all the time is its blender. It’s all in one system, including the smoothie cups, the blender, and the food processor. I love just having one appliance that is a multi-function item. I use it most of the time for smoothies, but I love the food processor as well.
