Feature Friday is a new series I’ll be running on Fridays. I have so many great books to tell you about, and they are piling up in my reading room. Unfortunately, there is not enough time in my day to share them all. I’m starting a new feature on my social media channels where I’ll share a quick video review of a few books, including children’s, middle-grade, young adult, or adult fiction and nonfiction.
Clicking the photo of the books or items will take you to its Amazon listing. I may receive a small commission if you purchase through any of my links. Thanks to the publisher for the gifted copy.

THIS SHEEP NEEDS YOUR HELP
A Draw & Erase Adventure

I’ve said it before. David LaRochelle is a favorite children’s author of mine and I’m thrilled to share two more of his books with you. This combo storybook/activity book allows kids to add to the adventure. The sheep needs help finding its way back home. Through drawings on each page, kids get to be part of helping the sheep find its way home.
Kids can draw a boat to help the sheep cross the lake, an umbrella to protect it from the rain, or some skis and ski poles to get down the hill. Every page needs help with the illustrations. But, the fun is that kids can go back time and time again and create new additions to the story. Maybe the first time they drew a row boat to cross the lake, but the next time a canoe, and the next time a pontoon.
Kids will have so much fun being part of the story. This makes a great Easter basket gift and is also a perfect quiet-time activity. Keep this in the car for when you need a no-mess type of activity.

THIS PIRATE NEEDS YOUR HELP
A Draw & Erase Adventure

Do you have what it takes to be a pirate? This new draw-and-erase adventure will put your child into the creation of the story. Right away, they can draw themself onto the page by adding themselves to the pirate ship. Next, they will need to draw something tasty for the hungry sharks to eat.
From drawing a pirate tattoo to a monster to scare away a sea serpent, their pirate skills will be tested. Plus, you can’t have a pirate story without a treasure map. Kids will get to find the treasure based on reading directions and drawing skills.
Add this book to your Easter basket bounty and you’ll have a pirate fan excited to join the adventures on the seas!
