Fiction

Teddy Bear Tim and his monkey friends want to teach kids all about hugs. The best part about hugs is that they are all about sharing love. But, there are a few lessons to learn about hugs, the most important being that you should always ask first if it is ok to give someone a hug.

As Teddy Bear Tim continues, he shares other important lessons about hugs but also shares the various types of hugs. There are happy hugs, sad hugs, quick hugs, and slow hugs. There are also monkey hugs and big bear hugs. But, most important of all is that your hugs are full of love.

The illustrations are fun and kids will giggle seeing Teddy Bear Tim being wrapped up in many monkey arms for a hug. The kids will understand the emotions on the page which offers an opportunity to talk to your child about their feelings and how they might feel better after receiving a hug. Now that you and your child know all about hugs, you can practice giving each other a hug. Just make sure you ask first!
