Fiction

For all the little kids who have been told they aren’t big enough or old enough or smart enough to do something, FLASH THE LITTLE FIRE ENGINE is the story for them.

Flash is so excited to join the other fire engines and it’s his first day on the job. He can’t wait to help out and when the first fire call comes in he rushes out with the other fire trucks. But each time, he is told he isn’t big enough to handle the fire. Crash handles the airplane fire at the airport. Laddie handles the high-rise apartment fire. Tank and Fizz handle the forest wildfire. Flash is feeling defeated and unwanted until a call comes in and he is the only one who can get there in time.

Interior page from Flash the Little Fire Engine children's book

The illustrations fill the pages and are brightly colored. They also share the emotion on the fire trucks as well as the humans on the pages. Kids will love voicing the onomatopoeias and sound effects in the story.

Kids who love fire engines or stories of heroes saving the day will love this new picture book!
