Sorry for the lack of posts this week. I feel like I am still playing catch-up after being gone two long weekends in a row. Then this week I was gone everyday for a class I was taking to keep my Substitute Teaching License. Nights were busy and if they weren’t I was playing catch-up after being gone during the day. Where are those lazy days of summer?????
I also wanted to update you on my mom. After having a PET scan this week, the results showed abnormalities in the mass in her lung. This was not expected and has been a huge shock for us. The next step is removal of the mass and I expect that to be soon. We meet with a surgeon this week. So, if I am missing from here, know that I am spending time with my mom and will be back soon.
So much so, that my friends have started calling me “Sunset Stacie”.
He will be loved and spoiled by so many! September can’t come soon enough!
Please continue to pray for healing for my mom as well as for the doctors that will be performing this surgery and planning for her care. This has all been so overwhelming and I know the weeks ahead will be stressful, but I plan to soak up all the time with my mom and family that I can.
So, if I tend to be a little MIA on here, please understand.
