This is an adorable board book about friendship. Little Wolf is sad because he wants to play in the forest and no one is willing to play with him. He asks the squirrel, the rabbit, and the fox but all of them say they are not allowed to play with wolves.

Little Wolf is so sad until a bee comes along and offers to play hide-and-seek with him. They have the best time playing hide-and-seek all over the forest and suddenly, some new friends want to play too.

The illustrations are basic, bold, and cute. The animals are simple and the scenery is quite pretty. Young readers will appreciate the photos until they are old enough to understand the importance of including everyone in their playtime. This is a lovely board book and the last page of the book will make you smile.
