This oversized board book is such a fun story for toddlers to preschoolers. Cat is out to get mouse and chases him all over the house. But, mouse knows all the best spots to hide and holes to jump through. Will Cat ever catch Mouse or is it just a fun game of cat and mouse?

The pages are full of bold, primary colors with simple illustrations. The unique part of the book is that each page has a cut out that fits the part of the chase, like a box, a hole, a window, or a keyhole. Young kids will love finding the mouse on the page and parents will appreciate the poetic, rhyming theme to the story.

Britta Teckentrup has a talent in writing engaging stories with bold illustrations that kids will love and parents won’t tire of reading.
