Fire Truck has had a big day and he is ready to tuck in the for the night. After putting out fires and even rescuing a kitten, he is ready to go back to the station, have a bath, some refreshment, and a good old bedtime story. When our kids were little, I loved reading “bedtime stories” to our kids before bed. I liked stories that talked about getting ready for bed and those have become our lasting favorites as a family. Many of them we know by heart. FIRE TRUCK DREAMS could that kind of book for your family.

Fire Truck shares about an important day of work and helping others. Then the nightly routine of bathtime, supper, and a good book helps kids realize their own routines are just as important.  Even in his dreams, Fire Truck is still putting out fires.

The illustrations are adorable and Fire Truck has the cutest Dalmatian puppy that goes along on all his jobs. Kids will enjoy finding the dog on every page. Toddlers through Kindergarten will love ending their day with Fire Truck and his faithful puppy. Add this book to your bedtime reading pile!

Dave Mottram always wanted to be an illustrator. He drew pictures until there was no paper left, then he drew on grocery bags. Nowadays he draws on his daughter’s lunch bags and illustrates children’s books. For more information, check out his website, HERE.
