ELLIE’S BEST BEACH VACATION EVER
The Amazing Adventures of Ellie the Elephant #4

Elle Fair and her mother have created another fun story to add to THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF ELLIE THE ELEPHANT series. I previously reviewed ELLIE GOES BACK TO SCHOOL, HERE.

Ellie is a much-loved stuffed elephant and her new friend Pudgy, the penguin joins her on all sorts of new adventures. This time, they are going to the beach for the first time. When Ellie and Pudgy walk down the boardwalk and see the white sand and blue-green water, it reminded me of my first time seeing a similar view. Ellie and Pudgy have a great time on their beach vacation riding bikes. building sandcastles, visiting bookstores, and even taking naps. They made the most of their vacation, enjoying everything the town had to offer and spending time together. That’s the best part of any vacation…all that uninterrupted time with each other!

Throughout the story, there are real photographs of Ellie and Pudgy experiencing every part of their adventure. The photos are adorable and make you feel like you are right there with them!

I really love this adorable series and will be adding this to my “bag of tricks” for when I sub at the elementary. I know kids will love this story too. A portion of the sale of every book goes toward helping children in need.

I find it really interesting that in finding my posts from this day several years ago, I found the post where I shared about our first ever family beach vacation just four years ago. We even visited this same beach area that is talked about in this book. Click the link to the Week 22 post below to see a snippet of our beach vacation.

As a working mother of four children, Fair was inspired to share the hard-earned wisdom she gained from juggling work and motherhood for over twenty years. This labor of love resulted in “TILT-7 Solutions To Be A Guilt-free Working Mom.”

Filled with over 70 quotes from her children, over 100 real-life practical tips to help working moms and the wisdom of over 80 other wonderful working moms, Marci’s goal with TILT is to encourage moms to continue to reach for their goals and dreams, as they help their children reach for theirs.

Marci Fair earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern Methodist University. Together, she and her husband founded a real estate business that is ranked in the top 100 in the United States. In addition, Marci founded a children’s charity Kares 4 Kids, that has served over fifteen thousand kids.

Marci and her daughter, Elle have coauthored a series of books about Elle’s two favorite stuffed animals, Ellie the Elephant and Pudgy the Penguin. Elle loves reading and her stuffed animals so collaborating on these books has been a special project for them together. Both of their previous books have won the God Mom’s Choice Award.

This looks and sounds adorable! What kid doesn't love stuffed animals? My son left one of his favorites at the beach (in a condo) one year and, remarkably, it was there when we went back the next year.
