Last week was crazy busy for me. It was my birthday and I was preparing to leave for a weekend getaway with some girlfriends. But, I still got at least 30 minutes of exercise into my day. It wasn't the running that I had been doing, but it was still exercise. I took walks with my daughter and son and had a nice walk in the Lake Tahoe area on my vacation. Now that I am back, I need to focus on finishing strong in my last week.

Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.
Your heart is necessary for life. In exercise, we need to get our heart pumping and keep it active. In life, we need to keep pumping love in and out of our heart. If we are constantly filling our heart with love and giving out love to others, our heart will be in constant motion. I have seen what happens to a failing heart both physically and emotionally. Sometimes the heart can come back and sometimes it can't. But, it is my job to make sure I am taking care of my heart the best way I can....guarding it and caring for it because it is my wellspring of life.
