November is the time to count our many blessings – name them one by one.
Last year I had a blessing for each day of November and kept track of them here. I want to do it again, but I realize I may not get to post everyday, so keeping a list might be more doable for me this year. I want to look at each day and name at least one blessing from that day. Something that happened or affected me on that day and not just in general. It can be so easy to igore those little blessings in our day, but sometimes it is the little blessings that can make the biggest impact.
November 3 – Thankful for Storytime and Coffee
Today was storytime and I was so tickled to spend my morning with 7 little ones. I am always amazed with their excitement and the things they share with me. Today we read CURIOUS GEORGE and even though it was a longer book, they did really well listening and pointing out things that interested them. I am so glad I decided to start this storytime at our library. It has really been more of a blessing to me than I could have imagined.
I also treated myself to an eggnog latte today at Starbucks. Every season I patiently wait for the arrival of pumpkin spice latte and then eggnog latte. They are both equally my favorite and I was thrilled to hear that the holiday drinks were back. It was the perfect treat for my afternoon!
