As you know I have started reading the Bible. I have 90 days to complete it and I am reading it with hundreds (1200+ to be exact) of other women. Each week (and even day to day) we check-in with each other on our progress, to pray for each other, and to share our thoughts. How cool is that?

So, I thought I would take each Book of the Bible and share my thoughts, verses, or people that stood out or spoke to me on that particular day. I have been doing most of my reading in the mornings reading whenever I can! The key is to get it done. If you get behind, you keep at it….catching up in chunks each day. The readings have been manageable and I am still praying it stays that way for me. I am currently several days behind schedule, but, gradually, I am catching up.

If any of this has peaked your interest in Reading the Bible in 90 Days, check out Moms Toolbox. I am sure there will be another session this winter. And, if I can do it…..YOU CAN TOO!

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 A Time for Everything

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work; If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Ecclesiastes 5:5 It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it.  It is better not to promise than to promise and break it.

Ecclesiastes 5:10 Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income.   If our worth is always based on money and things of this world, we will never have enough.  Base your worth on love, family, friends, and faith and you will never be happier.

Ecclesiastes 5:19-20 Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work – this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.

Ecclesiastes 8:15 So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.  God knows what is truly in our hearts.  Nothing is hidden to him.  All of us will be judged and God will not accept excuses.

Song of Songs 6:3 I am my lover’s and my lover is mine; he browses among the lilies.  Another favorite.  Song of Songs is like a romantic novel.  Read it if you haven’t!

Now on to Isaiah…………………..
