When I Am Weary

Yesterday was a really long day, as are most Wednesdays. Pat was also having a late appointment, so wasn’t home in the evening. I was just exhausted and all I wanted to do was crawl into bed. Today, is an entire day at home with my daughter and no plans in the evening. So, it is a no shower and lay around day. I may do some housework, but mostly I just want to play with and snuggle with Reagan and enjoy being at home. These days don’t happen very often, so I need to take advantage of them when I can. In Matthew 11:28, God says Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. I am listening to Him today and taking that much needed rest, so I can wake up tomorrow refreshed and ready to take on another day.

Hi, Stacie, Thank you for linking to Scrapbook of Christmas Firsts Blog. We’ve gone into “hibernation” for the spring and until mid-summer, but watch for engaging posts beginning this July. Have a peaceful, refreshing day with your little one.
